It’s Finally Time For A Catch Up
I really don’t know what it is with these posts that they are so far and few between. I honestly feel like I write them so often. But, alas, my last one was technically last year. I did write this post in April about what had been on my mind lately though. So I feel like that sort of counts right?
So grab a cup of coffee and let’s have a catch up why don’t we?
Hey! What’s Happening?.
Where to start? How about my latest travels? I was back in Zambia for a week and I had the best time, as usual. I will be getting round to doing a travel post again soon on my trip there. In the meanwhile, I decided to start a new Instagram account with more of my wildlife and travel photos called Cece In The Wild – feel free to give me a follow you want!
Did you see some of the exciting collaborations that I’m a part of? If you follow me on instagram you will know that I’ve partnered up with for the next few months which is really exciting for me. It’s allowing me to be creative with my content and I always appreciate that when it comes to campaigns. PS: if you are keen to open an account, click on this .
Then, did you read my blog post on the Sapienic products I tested a few months ago? You can read it here if you missed it. Their products are amazing and I’m happy to announce that you can use my code* to get 10% off your online order – Yay!

Latest Health Update
If I have to hear the word antibiotics one more time… I’ve been on 4 courses this year, 2 of them just in 1 month alone. It’s been a ride, not a fun one unfortunately. Having said that though, I’ve definitely gained some more clarification lately and I feel like I’m on the right path.
Let me just say, hormones are sooooo complicated. Especially if you’re like me and suffer from PCOS and endometriosis. I’ve also discovered that my stress hormone aka cortisol is triple the amount is should be. Not good. I’ve been supplementing with Kiko Vitals which offers help in both the gut and hormonal balancing. They are definitely worth checking out. Plus I love the concept behind the brand and what they stand for. I’ve also included Ashwagandha from Wellness Warehouse to try help lower my cortisol.
I’m trying to add more low impact workouts to my routine in an attempt to lower my cortisol but a few months ago I found out I have a passion for tennis! Like I’m beyond obsessed! I wish I had discovered this love earlier. So get ready to see lots more on my Instagram about this new love of mine.
In the past few months, I’ve really made a concerted effort to work on my anxiety. I do feel it’s better then a few months ago and that I’m actually in a good space. I really love this time of year as all the festivities begin, including my birthday – yay!
Other Bits & Bobs of a Catch Up
One of my questions that a follower asked on my Instagram about this catch up (which I loved btw) was “what am I reading”? I love reading but don’t always find the time, or when I get home from work I just want to lounge in front of the tv and catch up on my series. So last year I read 10 books and set a goal for this year to read 12 (1 a month). So far I’m on my 13th book plus I’m reading another on my kindle which I just got.
I’m currently reading ‘The Caretakers’ by Amanda Bestor-Siegal. It’s about a group of au pairs in an affluent Parisian suburb and centers around a tragic accident. One of my absolute top books this year that I read was ‘Violeta’ by Isabel Allende. An epic story of Violeta Del Valle, a woman whose life spans one hundred years. I didn’t want it to end. In terms of thrillers, I really enjoyed ‘A Flicker in the Dark’ by Stacy Willingham and ‘Into The Dark’ by Fiona Cummins. Have you read any of these?
So that’s my catch up. How are things going with you? Remember I’m only a message away if you ever want my advice or just a chat! Thanks for reading gorgeous people.
