Let’s Have A Catch-Up Shall We?
Last week I asked on my Instagram what you’d like to see on my blog. I couldn’t believe it but it was a tie between a catch-up post and a 5 Favourites post. So I decided, let’s start with a catch-up post then. My 5 Favourites will come soon, but in case you missed the last one, click here.

Where Has This Year Gone?
In my mind, I’m sometimes still stuck in March 2020. Then I realize that the end of 2021 is right around the corner. I felt like I had just written one of these posts, meanwhile, it was back in March. You can read that post here.
I was meant to do a post on my trip to Zambia that I went on at the end of May. You can watch my IGTV on that trip here. But I got home from the trip with a major middle ear infection that took me a while to recover from and then I had family members that were ill. I feel like I haven’t been able to get my head above water since then.

Health, Both Physical and Mental
.
Since my last catch-up post in March, I’ve been on an amazing journey at the gym. From someone who had zero energy to do the most simple tasks, I’ve gone to working out almost every day. I’m still at NuHuman which has been one of the greatest decisions I could’ve made for myself. However, being my worst enemy I’m sometimes disappointed in myself for not being where I want to be. My anxiety sometimes gets too much for me and I have to have a pep talk with myself to say how proud I am of myself. I’m proud that I show up. Proud that I try. Proud that I carry on even when it’s the last thing I feel like doing.
I feel like lately, my anxiety has really been holding me back but it is something that won’t change overnight. I need to just take one step at a time. I’m learning to appreciate where I am in my journey. Every season serves a purpose.

Hello Spring, Hello New Season
.
I always love this time of the year. Spring is sprung. The weather warms up and usually, pre-pandemic, the festive season starts to kick off. It’s also close to my birthday which then means it’s close to Christmas parties and actual Christmas. I’ve made a few updates to my house so I’m looking forward to hosting some events there. Hopefully even something for my birthday.
My dad recently turned 60 and we are hoping to go on a belated family holiday. That means I’ll get to spend some time with my brother which would be amazing. I miss him so much.
