Goodness it’s been a long time since I’ve written a beauty related blog post but I’ve been loving these products this Autumn so far so thought I’d share them with my beautiful readers. As the leaves change outside, here are some of my thoughts on these products for Autumn.
1. Kiko Vitals Moon Balm
First up, this magical jar of relief that’s recently launched from Kiko Vitals. I’ve mentioned this brand a few times on my Instagram as a brand I truly love. Their fundamentals in terms of wellness for the female body is something I appreciate. I’ve briefly mentioned that I have many issues with my hormones so I will take whatever serves my body the best. This Moon Balm is one of those things. The lavender scent instantly creates a sense of relaxation. It includes the following ingredients that combine perfectly together to help ease menstrual pain (plus if you’re like me, intense ovulation pain) and can even be used for migraines:
- Peppermint: Increases circulation and provides a cooling sensation, offering relief from heat and discomfort.
- Lavender: Known for its calming effects, it aids in relaxation and stress reduction.
- Ginger Root: Targets inflammation, directly addressing the root cause of pain and discomfort.
- Butterfly Pea Protein: Rich in antioxidants, it supports cellular health and regeneration.

2. Essence Baby Got Blush
I’ve had this blush for a while – I even posted a TikTok months and months ago on it when I first bought it but then I kind of forgot about it. Lately I’ve been using it every day and it perfect for the drier Autumn weather. I even bought the bronzer version of it. It has a divine fruity smell and easily glides on. It’s blends so well and stays on which is a plus. Although the product is small and compact, a little bit goes a long way. Fits easily into your handbag or makeup bag for any touch ups needed. I’m enjoying creamier vs powder products for Autumn, how about you?
I bought mine at Dis-chem but should be available where ever you can get Essence products.
3. Hada Labo Concentrated Water Serum
This is a product I just recently received in a press drop from the Hada Labo brand and I’ve been loving it since my first try. It is so hydrating, I think it will be my best friend in Autumn and Winter! You can use it both morning and evening before using your moisturizer. I find it works so well as a make up primer. It has a combination of 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid so it’s a great hydrator and skin plumper that provides long-lasting moisture. Perfect for Autumn and will be fantastic during the cold winter months.
Available from Clicks and Takealot
4. Dr. Hauschka Loose Powder Translucent
This is another product that I’ve had for a while but wanted to save so I could use it properly. I’ve been a fan of Dr. Hauschka skincare and make up products for the longest time so I knew I would enjoy using this product before I had even tried it. It includes nourishing silk and plant extracts, so this setting powder won’t dry or irritate your skin. This translucent powder is light and extra fine and sets your makeup perfectly. No mineral oils, parabens, silicone are used for this product. It’s on the pricey side but if you’ve used the brand before, you know its worth it.
Available from Faithful To Nature here
5. Essence Hydrating Nude Lipstick
I actually have two lipsticks from this range as the price tag and the fact that it states it’s hydrating were enough to convince me to buy them. This lipstick includes ingredients such as castor oil and shea butter, but doesn’t contain silicones or alcohol and is proven to provide moisture. It give a natural finish and who doesn’t love a good nude lipstick? Perfect to even pop one on your handbag for when you’re out and about and need to touch up. Plus the colour choices are great for not only Autumn, but all year round.
I bought mine at Dischem but as like the Baby Got Blush, it should be available wherever you get Essence products.
What do you think of the products I’ve been enjoying so far this Autumn? Are any of these on your list? I’d love for you to share with me.
