Core Collection Makeup Brushes by Real Techniques

 


 

Hi beauties,

 

I’ve read so many amazing reviews on Real Techniques makeup brushes and was so excited to buy some for myself that I ended up buying the Core Collection on my flight from France to England haha, hey a beauty blogger never stops 😉

 

Real Techniques was created by Sam & Nic, Youtube beauty gurus and professional makeup artists. They combined their passion for makeup and knowledge of the industry to create these high-tech brushes.

 

Apart from being some of the best makeup brushes I’ve tried so far that are adored by beauties all over the world, I love that these brushes are cruelty-free!

 

Here are my thoughts on the four brushes that are part of the Core Collection:

 

 

Buffing Brush: This is the BEST brush I’ve ever used! I am obsessed! It’s ideally for full coverage application of mineral and powder foundation but I use it for my liquid foundation and I love the amazing coverage it creates. Plus it ‘buffs’ the foundation on, creating a flawless effect. Love, love, love this brush!

 

 

Pointed Foundation Brush: This brush is for use with liquid foundation to help build coverage but as I mentioned above, I use the Buffing Brush for my foundation so I use this brush for blending in my concealer.

 

 

Contour Brush: This brush is perfect for applying your highlighter, bronzer as well as blush. It helps contour and create those desirable check bones that we all lust over.

 



Detailer Brush: This small brush can be used for concealer, as a lip brush or you can use it like the way I use it, as an eye shadow brush. I love to use it to apply my highlighter to the inner corner of my eyes.

 

 



Since I bought mine while I was 33000ft in the air, I found that you can buy them from TakeALot.Com for R410,00 or until the 28th of February they are on sale from Senses Beauty Salon for R350,00!

 

 

I’ll definitely be adding to my Real Techinques collection and have my eye on the stippling brush and this travel essential collection.
