It’s A Green Christmas with Cape Island

Set the scene this Christmas for luxury while still being kind to the environment. With Cape Island’s Celebration selection, you can get to experience the opulence of their products while intertwining it with sustainability. To set this Christmas table, I used everything I already had at home and in my Christmas collection. I decided to play on the green coloring of the packaging by complimenting it with tones of pinks.

The Celebration Range

By now, if you have been a reader for a while or follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love the Cape Island candles and diffusers. I patiently wait for Black Friday so I can do a massive shop and top up my stash haha. You can read about the African Storm range that I absolutely love from them here in this post. The Celebration Range by Cape Island contains the following warming festive scents:

Top: Cinnamon, Clove

Heart: Caramel, Vanilla, Chocolate, Nut

Base: Cedarwood, Amber, Musk

The range includes a Mini Candle, Classic Candle (as photographed), Christmas Cracker & Mini Diffuser (as photographed) as well as a Christmas Cracker & Mini Candle. It ranges from R204.00 – R395.00 (correct at time of going live).

Adding A Touch Of Sustainability

A few years ago, I wrote this blog post on 5 ways to make your Festive Season a bit greener and I feel this post resonates with it. I’ve mentioned a few times in previous blog posts how I reuse my candle jars. Either for bathroom amenities like cotton wool pads or eco friendly ear buds etc. I even use the large Cape Island candle jar for my plant cuttings like you can see in this post. I’ve also save the packaging of the candles and making gift tags or small cards from them. The gold embossing and the designs for the different ranges are just too pretty to waste.

Cape Island also offers refills for their diffusers, hand washes and body lotions. Plus you could even reuse your diffusers by adding small stems of flowers or sprigs of herbs.
