Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette
.
A few weeks ago, Urban Decay South Africa had a huge sale and I took it as a chance to stock up on some of my favourite products from the brand. Along with the chance of spoiling myself with the Naked Honey Palette.
The palette had been released here in SA a while ago but the massive sale seemed like the perfect time to add it to my collection. I knew the shades would work well with my blue eyes. Yet this lineup of opulent golden neutral eye shadows is made for every eye color and skin tone. Plus it would be a palette that I could get a lot of use out of. It includes shades that I usually reach for.

The 12 Shades of Honey
.
Urban Decay’s Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette consists of 12 golden neutrals. The buzzed about palettes is home to some classic golds, warm ambers, and rich chocolate browns. It has some great transitional shades and the palette as a whole just flows so nicely together.
Drip is one of my most used colours from the palette. It’s a light-medium brown that has soft, warm undertones. It can easily be worn in the day as it has a matte finish.
The colour that has surprised me the most with it’s vibrant pigmentation is Honey. Wow! It is bright gold with warm, yellow undertones and a metallic finish. I love using it a liner on my top lash line. One day I’ll create a 70’s inspired look like they have on the website here.
I’ll definitely be playing around with more looks and trying out more of the shades soon.

My Verdict
I really did not need another eyeshadow palette. But I had been thinking about this one for a while. The fact that I bought it for 50% off completely swayed my decision. I just couldn’t say no. Do I regret it? Not one bit, I actually really really like this palette and think it was money well spent. So it’s a yes from me if you’re thinking of buying it.
