My beauty desk has seen some fabulous new products this month of March, so I wanted to share a few of them with you here. As per usual, these posts include either first impressions of the products or just some information on the actual products. Don’t forget to let me know if you’d like to see a review on a particular product.

Batiste Dry Shampoo – Oriental

First up, my current lifesaver. I’m a huge fan of dry shampoo for those days when you just want to push out your hair wash by one more day. I usually buy mine from Clicks but I was kindly sent the Oriental scent to try out. It’s actually become one of my fav ones to use. There are also one specially for blonde; brunette and dark hair and loads of different scented ones. Available from Clicks for R74.00 online here and in store.

ps: check out my previous post on Batiste Dry Shampoo here

Dr Hauschka Eye Make-Up Remover

Next up in the March Testing series, we have the Dr Hauschka Eye Make-up Remover. I haven’t tried this out yet, as I had my lash extensions in from LCN and this makeup remover is a dual phase one. So it’s a combination of an oil-based and a water-based cleanser. My eyes are super sensitive but this eye makeup remover is made up of rose water and plant extracts of eyebright and fennel which helps soothe the particularly delicate and sensitive skin around the eye.

Available for R565.00 for 75ml here. You can also read up on previous products I’ve tested from this brand and why I’m such a fan!

The Body Shop – Shea

The Shea range from The Body Shop is definitely one of my favorites. It’s scent isn’t overpowering yet it so nourishing thanks to the Shea Butter. This key ingredient is their first ever Community Trade ingredient and is hand farmed by women in villages across Northern Ghana.

I immediately tried out the Body Lotion as soon as I received this press pack, and I love it! It’s easy to apply, absorbs so well and smells lovely. I’m looking forward to testing out the Hair Mask soon. You’ll know from this post that I’m a fan of their Banana one so I have high hopes for the Shea Butter one!

The Body Lotion is R135.00 and the Hair Mask is R180.00

Earthsap Shampoo & Conditioner

I’ve used a few of the Earthsap products, and I’m particularly a fan of their house cleaning products (you can find their products at Faithful To Nature). I was sent their Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo and Conditioner to test out. This range is ideal for those that have oily hair, khe key ingredient in this clarifying shampoo is grapefruit essential oil, a gentle but effective cleanser that balances your natural oil levels. Sugarbeet (beetroot) is rich in betaine and penetrates your hair, repairing and strengthening from the roots to the tips. I think this is a great combo to use when you wash your hair after gym. So I’ll elt you know how it is. R59.00 for the shampoo and R67.00 for the condiotioner.

The eye-makeup remover sounds great, but yikes, pricey! The Body Shop range sounds fabulous as well. Let us know about the Hair mask.
