What I Bought Online from Urban Decay South Africa

A few months ago, the highly anticipated online store for Urban Decay in South Africa launched. I’m lucky enough that I can pop into the standalone store in Menlyn but I was most excited for my readers that aren’t in Cape Town or Gauteng. I couldn’t wait for them to have access to one of my top brands.

Naturally, I did some shopping so I wanted to let you about the products I bought and what I thought of them.

Naked Heat Petite

I know, what you’re thinking. Why would I buy the Naked Heat Petite if I already have (and love) the Naked Heat Palette?  Believe me, I was wondering the same thing, but after my trip to Greece where I constantly reached for Irina’s Petite, I decided that it’s worth it for my travels. I love to pack a neutral palette (the Naked Original is my travel baby) so I thought it’s a good idea to add this petite one to my travel makeup bag.

In this Naked Heat Petite Palette, you’ll find the following shades:
INHALE (cream demi-matte)
VIBRATE (soft nude matte)
HOT SPELL (terra-cotta matte)
WILD THING (scorched-orange matte)
HEIST (rich cayenne matte)
STRIKE (rich reddish-brown matte)

I use them all, they are so versatile and blend so well together. I recommend this palette if you want to try the Heat shades but don’t want to buy the 12 shade palette.

R530.00 available in store and online

UD X KRISTEN LEANNE BUN BUN

Next up, another product that Irina influenced me to buy. The Bun Bun lipstick from the UD x Kristen Leanne limited edition collection. This nude comfort matte is amazing! I actually want to buy another one cause I love the shade so much and I know that it’s limited edition. It’s a darker nude shade with a brownish tint so it works with everysingle makeup look.

Love it!

R300.00, it’s out of stock online but hopefully, some of the stores have stock.

24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil

The third product I bought was a fail for me. Yep, I said it. It not because it’s not a great product, I was just let down by the colour. I have the 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil in Rail (a dark brown) which is amazing for use on the inner rim in the waterline. So I thought this shade (Walk of Shame) would be a beautiful gold that would emphasize my blue eyes but it’s not gold enough if that makes sense. It’s a pale cream colour.

I will buy the other shades though, like Mood (a charcoal) and Street (an emerald green), so I’ll let you know about those.

R230.00 at stores or online.

EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION

Next, a product that I’ve used, loved and had to repurchase. I cannot go a day without using my primer potion (in original) before applying my eyeshadow. It’s amazing!

R330.00 in-store

or online.

24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil

Last, but not least, we have the 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in the shade “Insanity”. I don’t wear lipliner everyday but I’m a huge fan of the shade Insantity (it’s the lipstick I reach for when running out the door).  It’s a soft warm nude (can you tell I love warm nudes by buying Bun Bun as well haha).

R230.00 in stores or online.

Whats on your list to buy online from Urban Decay?
