I’ve always been such a fan of Real Techniques, I remember the first time I ever used one of their brushes was after buying the Core Set on an international flight as they weren’t available in South Africa (side note: best decision ever!).
I plan on slowly adding more brushes to my collection, plus the Bold Metals Collection is just SO gorgeous!
Before I get ahead of myself with drooling over all the beautiful brushes, let me chat to you about the Powder Brush and the Miracle Sculpting Sponge.
A few weeks ago I posted a photo on Instagram with the Powder Brush and a lot of you told me how much you love this brush too! It has soft, plush bristles (cruelty free of course); applies powder like a dream with a flawless finish and has no product build up. It’s no wonder it’s received 5 out of 5 stars on the Real Techniques website. I’ve so enjoyed using this brush – hands down, my top powder brush!

Next we have the Real Techniques Miracle Sculpting Sponge. This sponge is for contouring and highlighting with 6 surfaces to help sculpt your look. To be honest though, my favourite way to use this sponge is to apply my concealer and a liquid highlighter. The smaller sides are for highlighting while the larger sides can be used for contouring. I love using the larger side for highlighting with a liquid highlighter and then I use the smaller sides for concealer under my eyes. Anyone else do this? Don’t forget to wet your sponge a bit to apply your product flawlessly.

January 9, 2018I use my RT Powder Brush all the time! Definitely a firm favourite! I have never tried the Sculpting Sponge before, but so curious now as I love the Miracle Complexion sponge. I really enjoy their blush brush and the expert face buffing brush too.

January 15, 2018I really need a new powder brush, so I think I’ll grab this one next time I see it. That sponge has had me quite intrigued too, so now that you’ve mentioned how you like to use it, perhaps I’ll grab it as well!
