[BEAUTY]: NYX Ombre Blush

Let’s admit, the ombre trend is still going and transitioned from hair colour to our makeup a while ago, and we’re all still loving it. Well, I am at least!

I knew I wanted to try one of the Ombre blushes from NYX as I had read such good reviews on it and decided that instead of my usual peachy toned blush, I would venture to the opposite side of the spectrum and picked up the cool toned “Mauve Me” 

So in this collection, you get some bright blushes such as Code Breaker which is a blend of matte purple and hot pink, definitely for the more adventurous. Then you get more of the peach toned ones as well as pretty pinks, but like I said, I wanted to try something different which is why I bought Mauve Me. 

The pigment is fantastic; it’s long lasting and you can play between the lighter pink and the mauve. It’s cool toned, like I mentioned before, which actually works well with my fair tone. The texture doesn’t leave you with a powdery look on your cheeks and has a satin finish.  Plus I love the compact with the mirror.

A bit more expensive than their usual blushes, but in my opinion, totally worth it! They retail for R219.95 and with a few different shades, you’ll find one that suits you best!
