A Smoky Twist on a Classic Margarita
Equipment
- 1 Cocktail shaker
- 1 Cocktail glass
Ingredients
- Lime wedge and Tajín for rimming the glass
- 1 1/2 oz Mezcal
- 3/4 oz Triple sec or any orange liqueur
- 1/2 oz Agave syrup
- 3/4 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
- Ice
- Lime wheel for garnish
Instructions
- Rim Your Glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in Tajín for that spicy, tangy edge.
- Mix It Up: In a cocktail shaker, combine mezcal, triple sec, agave syrup, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Shake It Like You Mean It: Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Pour and Garnish: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice and garnish with a lime wheel.
