[BEAUTY]: Urban Decay 24/7 Troublemaker Duo
A duo that is any troublemakers dream. Well, that’s what Urban Decay claims, but did it prove to be just that in my books? I’ve been testing this duo, and most importantly the mascara for a few weeks now and you can trust me when I say I love it just by the fact that I packed it with me on my trip, and I usually only pack firm favourites for travelling.
So what do you get in this trouble-making duo? You get the Urban Decay Troublemaker mascara in high-intensity black and then you get the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in ZERO which is a creamy black eyeliner.
Let’s start with the mascara. Firstly, the packaging is really cool – the mascara tube is a slick holographic-like packaging which just looks awesome. Next up, the brush – it’s definitely not as big as the Perversion brush, which actually suits me a lot better as I find it easier to use, it has widely-spaced bristles of varying lengths that help build up the volume. The actual formula has some natural fibres in which helps lengthen your lashes as well. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t flake, plus I love that the bristles sort of brush out my lashes so they don’t become clumpy.
The second part of this duo is the 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in the shade ZERO. I own quite a few of the 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils in different colours (I seem to buy a new one each time I visit the store haha) as they are just so easy to apply with their creamy formula – this is due to the Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and Cottonseed Oil.
So do I think this duo is worth it? Yeeeeeep! For R430.00 you’re getting a lengthening and volumizing mascara that doesn’t flake or smudge and makes your lashes look bomb, plus a black eyeliner that just glides on which usually costs R230.00 – so essentially you’re paying R200.00 for the mascara which is such a score! Plus you get a cool travel pouch with it – need any more reasons? Didn’t think so!
ps: below you can see what it does for my lashes.
pps: this duo is vegan
