Makeup From Dr. Hauschka
Over the years, I’ve chatted to you guys about Dr. Hauschka and recently posted about some products I’ve been using in spring (click here to read). While I’ve always loved their skincare, their makeup is just as great. In fact, I even mentioned in this YouTube video how much I love their bronzing powder. I hit pan on it a long time ago, heartbreaking, but I have a new one to make me happy again.
Dr. Hauschka Bronzing Powder
With spring in full blossom, skins get more tanned with that skin-kissed look. This look can easily be achieved with this bronzing powder. One of my favourites as I find it suits my skin tone perfectly, it adds a translucent bronzed effect to the skin. This bronzing powder combines mineral pigments with nourishing botanical ingredients such as witch hazel and sage to soothe, protect and comfort skin.
Dust a bit along your cheekbones and the outer edges of your forehead to create a beautiful glow.
Another reason why I love the Dr. Hauschka Bronzing Powder is that it lasts a really long time.

Dr. Hauschka Lipstick
A beautifully pigmented lipstick in the perfect spring shade – Pimpernel. This burnt orange shade adds a tropical look to any makeup look. Made with mineral pigments and botanical ingredients such as rose petals, almond oil, and carnauba wax. Not only does it apply easily but doesn’t leave your lips feeling dry and flakey.

Dr. Hauschka Concealer
Next up we have a product that hasn’t really impressed me. I was looking forward to trying out this concealer but unfortunately, it just didn’t do anything for me. I felt its formula is too ‘dry’, so it was hard to blend in and work with. It also dries darker than expected.
Not wanting to waste a product though, I know mix a bit of it in with my foundation for extra coverage.
To be honest, I also wasn’t a fan of the packaging, you keep having to twist to get the product out and then it dries too quickly.
I’d rather you spend the R399.00 (available here) towards the bronzing powder or the sheer lipstick (see review below).
Dr. Hauschka Sheer Lipstick
Last but not least, and a product that I can recommend is the Sheer Lipstick. Ah, I love the slim design of the packaging and how easily it fits into your handbag. Perfect to whip out for touch ups. I’m currently loving the shade “Zambra”. The shade range isn’t as extensive as the normal lipstick range but it’s great for just adding a sheer colour to your lips. Made with mineral pigments and nourishing ingredients such as rose hips, argan oil and beeswax for silky soft lips with a subtle shimmer.
