[TRAVEL]: A Night At The Palace – Sun City

A few weeks ago, I was delightfully indulged with an amazing stay at one of South Africa’s most luxurious hotels, The Palace of the Lost City. Situated in the beautiful Sun City in the North West province, this 5 star hotel was everything I had dreamed of and more.

From the moment you pull up to the valet parking, you feel like absolute royalty.  As you walk through reception with its grandeur decor, you can’t help but gaze upwards to the intricately painted ceiling. The accommodation oozes luxury and African spirit at each and every corner of the hotel.

With over 300 rooms and suites that all boast handcrafted furniture, you’re sure to feel utterly relaxed. My room was amazing, I felt so at home!

We had lunch at one of the restaurants called The Plume which had such beautiful decor and of course, delish food! From there on we were treated to a massage at the Gary Player Country Cub and Spa, it was hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had!

Later that evening we had dinner at The Grill Room and then I found myself in a heavenly sleep in my gorgeous room and woke up refreshed and relaxed.

The next morning, I did some exploring of the grounds to snap some photos and admire the beautiful architecture. I mean, can we just have a moment? It’s such a beautiful and iconic hotel!

My favourite part of the hotel, was definitely the Crystal Court where thye serve such a delicious breakfast every morning that even includes a waffle station. The chandelier and the opulent decor was breathtaking.
