Gosh, it’s been a while since I’ve made something a little dramatic in the cocktail department. With Halloween season here, I thought it would be fun to share this moody but delicious Dracula’s Blood Cocktail.

It’s fruity, slightly tart, and honestly just so pretty. The mix of pomegranate and black raspberry gives it that deep red colour, and when you add a touch of edible glitter to the rim, it feels a little bit fancy without the effort. Perfect for a themed get-together or even just a night in with friends and a spooky playlist in the background.

Dracula’s Blood Cocktail

Equipment

• 1 Cocktail shaker
• 1 Tumbler glass

Ingredients

  

• 2 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Chambord (or black raspberry liqueur)
• 1 oz Pomegranate juice
• 1/2 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1/2 oz Agave syrup
• Dash of grenadine
• Ice
• Dark cherries or a little prop for garnish
• Optional: sugar + black edible glitter for the rim

Instructions

 

• Rim your glass with a mix of sugar and edible black glitter.
• Add all ingredients (except garnish) to a cocktail shaker with ice.
• Shake well until chilled.
• Strain into an ice-filled tumbler.
• Garnish with dark cherries or a fun Halloween touch
