Before you begin to scroll through this beauty review, quickly go and grab a piece of paper; your diary, or whatever you use for your shopping list and write this name down, NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette. You have to add this palette to your beauty arsenal!

Featuring 7 different illuminating shades, this palette is what highlighting dreams are made of. Velvety soft, pigmented and shimmery. These shades range from gold; to pink to lilac. Starting from the top left top, you have a golden shade; a light pink; a beautiful lavender; a dusty pink and then from the bottom left you have a peachy gold; a golden bronze and champagne colour. All with shimmer.

I’ve found myself drawn to the light purple whenever I’m wearing cooler tones and often use the dusty pink as more of a blush. The light champagne colour is perfect for any highlighting. It’s a palette I use each day to create an illuminated glow.

I bought this palette at the NYX store in Barcelona, Spain, but it’s available in South Africa at Clicks for R354.95 and is 100% worth it!
