RE-Wear Jackets

RE-Wear
Before I get into why I love this jacket so much, I first want to tell you guys about RE-Wear from T-shirts For Change. I’ve written about this brand before as I love what they do for charities, you can read more on that here, as well as being sustainable. Plus I’ve shared it a few times on my Instagram, including this comfy black RE-Wear tee I bought last year.
The reason why the RE-Wear section of the brand is so cool, is that it’s helping out the planet. The RE-Wear range of tees and apparel not only make an impact on the environment, but also benefit everyone in the local supply chain. Thus, helping create jobs in South Africa.
The whole basis of RE-Wear is to make a range that is made using post-consumer plastic recycled directly from landfill. Their tees are blended with cotton for a soft feel and their jackets are lined with 100% eco-down.

Eco Puffer Jacket

The Eco Puffer Unisex Jackets are lined with RE-Wear Eco down that is made from 100% recycled materials. Each Eco puffer jacket recycles 20 plastic bottles or more. How awesome is that! It warms you, but not the planet.
By using the Eco Down material made from recycled plastic, it’s a cruelty free alternative to duck down. It’s lightweight and keeps you so nice and warm.
This super cool jacket comes in 3 colours to choose from: white; black and caramel. For ladies, it’s suggested that you size down, for men it’s pretty much true to size. I went for a big one as I prefer an over sized fit.

These jackets retail for R1299.00 and I have a feeling will be one of those jackets that last a lifetime with it’s premium quilted outer shell. I’ll definitely be packing it with when I travel again (one day, post lock down). You can shop for them here.
