[STYLE]: #MBFWJ16

On Saturday night (12 March 2016) I headed to the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton to watch the Selfi show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Johannesburg 2016. It was my first time attending fashion week and I had no clue what to wear! The one outfit I did plan would’ve worked but the weather just wasn’t co-operating. I was in an edgy mood that day so decided that all black was the way to go.

Sleeveless jackets are my favourite thing at the moment, I feel like I need one in every colour for autumn and winter! I bought this black one from Mr Price and will definitely be adding more to my wardrobe soon!

The Selfi collection for the A/W16 season was inspired by Pablo Picasso’s African Cubist period. I really enjoyed this element of the show as some of you know, I studied art, so I thoroughly enjoyed this element of the show.

If you head to the Selfi website (here) you can view their previous collections. This is a dress I’m currently lusting over (see below). You can shop their collections online or at Convoy in Melville, Johannesburg.
