Oh Hello Leopard Midi Skirt
I have decided that this summer will be my summer of skirts. The last time I wore skirts was probably in my first year of high school when pleated mini skirts were a thing. Enter the new midi and maxi lengths. I asked you guys on Instagram whether you wanted to see how I style one skirt a few different ways so you have an idea and I got an overwhelming response saying yeeeeees.
We all know I’m a sucker for animal print, leopard print being my favorite. So when I spotted this skirt at Pick n Pay clothing I already had a few different ideas of how I’d wear it. I also wanted to share how you can put together a look without breaking the bank. Nothing I’m wearing is high-end. I’m all for a great bargain. Check out my 3 styles below.
Look Number 1 – A Night Out
Pair your leopard print skirt with some heels and a black top. Add some fabulous jewelry and a black clutch bag and you are good to go. I bought these heels at Mr Price recently and I love the clear straps. Throw on some sunnies if you’re starting with some sundowners before heading out. I bought this pair at YDE.
Look 2 – Lunch With The Girls
For this look, you can pair your skirt with some simple yet linked accessories. Block heels; a belt and a crossbody bag all in similar tones just pulls the look together. Add some contrast with a brightly coloured top. I personally love combining red and leopard print. Both my heels and belt are from Mr Price and my bag is from Superbalist.
Look 3 – The Casual Weekender
This is one of my favorite casual looks at the moment. A band tee and cute sneakers. I know Cotton On usually has some cool band tees (mine is from my brother’s wardrobe haha). Even a plain white tee with your favourite sneakers will look great. I’m usually in my Nikes but these little canvas ones from Cotton On are so comfy (they were on sale so I don’t think they still have any left).
Where To Find Some:
I’m not sure if Pick n Pay still have this skirt, but you should pop by because I’ve bought 2 other cute skirts from there recently. There is also this cute one from Superbalist and even this bias cut one also from Superbalist. In terms of other great options, Mr Price has some cute ones and then there are also your gorgeous ones from Zara.
