My Favourites In A new Series
Previously, I had a “Currently Testing” series where I chatted about some of the new beauty products I had received in press drops and some I had bought. While I enjoyed puting it together each month, sometimes I never got to really chat about how some products became my favourites.
I decided to branch it out a bit and bring in some other elements I enjoyed. For example, a book I’m enjoying, a fashion item I’m loving etc. I’m also changing it from a monthly posting. So there could be another post in 2 weeks time or in 2 months time haha.
Let me know what you think in the comments below? But for now, let’s get right into it.

INOAR THERMOLISS ANTI-FRIZZ LEAVE-IN
I received this product in a cute holiday pack from Inaor South Africa and I used it here and there in November and December. It’s only been for the past 4 weeks or so that I’ve really become obsessed with it. Formulated with Argan Oil, Thermoliss creates a protective layer around the cuticles while locking in moisture right away and eliminating frizz at the same time. I use it as a heat protector and then also as a treatment. So at night, I’ll apply some to my ends and my flyaways. It’s also great to slather some on before you swim. It’s a bit on the pricey side – R500.00 for 240ml but it’s a big tube and you only use a small amount each time. So I would recommend it if you have dry hair and the frizz factor is real. ps: check out my last Inoar post here.

POOSH
I’ve started getting back into reading blogs and honestly didn’t think I’d enjoy this website as much as I do! It’s definitely become one of my favourites. There are some awesome hacks; great tips and honest conversations. I also enjoy that there is constantly new content. The beauty, travel etc hacks are definitely my favourite. Click here to visit the Poosh website.

BELLABACI SPORT SOS REPAIR OINTMNET
Another product I received at the end of last year and that I’ve been using more of lately is the Bellabaci Sport Natural SOS Repair Ointment. I was first introduced to Bellabaci with their genies and cupping system plus I still add a few drops of this to my baths every now and then. This works well when my muscles are a bit stiff or my shoulders are too tense. I love that it’s made up of natural ingredients such as Cocoa, Coconut, Arnica, Calendula, Comfrey, May Chang, Immortelle and Wintergreen. Available for R205.00 online here.
ps: just a tip – I rub some on my mozzie bites and it helps take the itch away a bit.

THE FAMILY UPSTAIRS BY LISA JEWELL
It’s been so long since I’ve written about any books but you guys will know from my Instagram that I love reading. I especially love reading thrillers. The more twists, the better! I don’t want to give away too much of this book but it’s set in London and switches between two-time frames. 3 adults are found in a house wearing all black with a note next to them while a healthy baby is lying upstairs in her cot but the other children are missing. Dark secrets in the house led to quite a mystery. I’ll definitely read more of Lisa Jewell’s work! You can buy it from Exclusive books here.

LCN NAIL CARE SERUM
I received this as part of a nail care kit from the team at LCN. I was really good but I’ve slacked a bit lately (sorry LCN) but I’m back on track with using it often and then I also use it in combination with my LCN Bamboo Cuticle Pen. This product supports nail build-up with Silk Proteins, Keratin, Calcium and Vitamin H and helps make your nails strong. This serum retails for R210.00 and you can get it online here. You can also get it from the LCN Aesthetic Beauty Spa in Shere, Pretoria. If you mention Cassidy referred you, you get 10% off all nail treatments and nail products yay! You can get the address over here or pop me a message!

Let me know if you enjoyed me adding a few other elements as my favourites to posts like these. I can definitely tell you that upcoming posts will include more home stuff after my move. Need any more info, let me know!
