10 Years of The Glam Green Girl

In June 2011, my journey of The Glam Green Girl began. I had always dreamt of being a magazine editor and being creative through words and images. I began to realize the impact we were having on our environment and decided to create a small space on the internet that could be my own online magazine.
Sometimes when I look at old blog posts, I just want to cringe. But, that is all part of the process. I have certainly grown in the past 10 years.

The Journey
I’ve always been so grateful to have this space to share different times in my life. We have gone on a journey together of competing in Miss Earth 2014; I celebrated my 5th blog birthday in 2016 reflecting how what a great ride it had been, not knowing that even better things were on the horizon. For my blog’s 6th birthday, I wrote about 6 things I had learn’t from blogging. Lessons, that are still true today.
In 2019, I started a new chapter in my life as I welcomed my thirties. I wrote about my intentions and how I wanted to spend my first few years in this new chapter. I love going back and reading that post for reflection.

A Love Letter
What I truly want to get at with this blog post though, is that I’m eternally grateful for this platform. I’m grateful for every time someone takes a moment to read what I’ve written. That I can try spread a message of how small changes can make big impacts. Life is not perfect. Neither are we. Yet, I still get to continue as The Glam Green Girl. All thanks to you!
