[BEAUTY]: Urban Decay Morning After & Native

Nothing makes me happier that a nude lip, well there are a few things I could mention, but in terms of the beauty world, a nude lip is and always will be my one true love. Even though I’d started venturing out with brighter; bolder and more attention-grabbing shades such as Afterdark (which you can see here) , this colour from Urban Decay was a no-brainer for me.

Morning After,Β is a sheer lipstick (Urban Decay Vice Lipstick comes in 6 different finishes) which means it adds colour to your lips but with a sheer, shiny finish. This colour is described as a pale pink with a cool blue undertone but once applied to my lips, it’s veers more towards the nude hues than the pinks in my opinion. It’s creamy and pigmented, fantastic for long-day wear. Plus it pairs perfectly with a smokey eyed look (see what I’m talking about here).

Now the key to a perfect lip, that stays all day long, 24/7, is using a lip liner. This was my first time using an Urban Decay lip liner and I’m hooked! It’s waterproof; long-lasting and glides on so smoothly. It allows you to define your lips and fill them in, in preparation for your matching shade of lipstick. These 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencils keep your lips nourished with ingredients such as moisturizing vitamin E, jojoba oil and cottonseed oil.

The colour that works well with Morning After (lipstick) is the shade Native. You could even pair it with the shade Native lipstick.

What do you think of this colour combo? Is it something you’d try?
