I’ve always been curious about the Palladio brand whenever I do some beauty aisle cruising at Dis-Chem especially after I found out they were cruelty-free. My curiosity piqued when I received a press drop containing some neutral and warm toned products and I was eager to put these herbal and vitamin enriched products to the test.
I was so surprised by this eyeshadow quad in “Copper n Chic”, pleasantly surprised that is! It has great pigment and it lasted the whole day, I was actually a bit shocked when I got home from work and my makeup was still intact These are colours I use so often and they were so easy to blend together to create a pretty warm toned eye. There’s a shade for your brow bone; eyelid; crease and outer corner. Plus you can make it smokier or more of a natural look.
So I’m not a fan of this retractable eyeliner in “Pure Black”. I much prefer an eyeliner that glides on and I found this one to be difficult to apply. It’s not ‘soft’ enough to effortlessly apply above my top lash line but I’ve been using it on my lower lash line to create a bit of dimension as it is waterproof so it doesn’t leave me with panda eyes. It’s definitely not one I reach for in the morning.
While I won’t be rushing out to buy one of those eyeliners, I will definitely pop one of these Pop Shine Lip Balms in my basket next time I’m at Dis-Chem! Yep, I’m impressed! This is the tinted lip balm I featured on my Insta stories and so many people were interested, so here’s the details. This lip colour is called “Get Real”, it’s a cool toned nudey pink in my opinion. It’s so moisturising with a pretty tint of colour. I now carry it around in my handbag as it’s perfect for any look. I’ve really been enjoying it!
Below is a look I created with the eyeshadow quad, the eyeliner and the lip balm.
This cruelty free brand is only available at Dis-Chem pharmacies.
Have you used any Palladio products? I’m definitely going to make a stop at their stand with my next Dis-Chem shop!
