Some exciting cruelty-free and eco-beauty products landed on my desk a few weeks ago and I’ve been trying them out lately so I could chat to you guys about them – so far, so good!
Let’s get right into it shall we?
I was sent a trial size of the bhave Rescue range to test out and was quite interested as I hadn’t heard of the bhave brand before. This brand is the first Australian brand to introduce the benefits of a patented raw natural keratin technology into their products. This helps to rebuild the internal structure and restore the strength, elasticity and shine to damaged hair, rebuilding every strand of hair from the inside out.
Now you know I’m a conditioner lover of note, but I was so impressed with this shampoo. It usually takes me a while to start enjoying a shampoo but I was sold on this one. The conditioner on the other hand, I wasn’t such a fan of. I thought because it’s a repairing conditioner, it would be thick (sort of like a mask) but it was so lightweight so I didn’t believe it would do much help. Then I blow waved my hair and had to eat my words. Yep, my hair felt soooo soft afterwards!
Definitely impressed with this range, plus it’s product are free from sulphates, parabens and sodium chloride.
The Rescue shampoo & conditioner are R450.00 each (300ml) and are available here.
Next up we have two products from the Beaucience range. This brand was recently certified by Beauty Without Cruelty and their main values are all about clean, fuss-free products.
While I’m more of a cleansing oil or balm kind of girl, this cleansing gel is the perfect addition to my shower for that post-workout cleanse. It smells so fresh and is gentle on my skin. I don’t feel like it strips my skin which a lot of face washes. It contains organic green tea; Aloe Vera, Peach, Proteasyl and Witch Hazel, along with one of my favourite essential oils, Neroli.

The Day & Night cream is a light, almost mousse-like cream that can be used in both the morning and evening. It absorbs easily into my skin and contains ingredients such as Lotus Flower Extract, nourishing Organic Marula, Wheatgerm and Avocado Oils for extra nourishment. It hardly has a scent but leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Last but not least, we have the Anti-Ageing Serum from Naturals Beauty. It’s an amazing combination of rosehip; evening primrose; olive and avocado oils. This blend has revitalising properties and smells divine. It’s paraben; synthetic; gluten and cruelty free.
I love to use this in combination with the Beaucience Day and Night cream in the evening, helps keep me skin hydrated!
