Skincare Products from Claire Hill
Beauty backed by science and inspired by confidence. This is the mantra behind the skincare line developed by the founder, Loretta Hill, as a legacy for her daughter. Claire Hill skincare focuses on simplicity and the joy of embracing life.
Before I chat more about the actual products, I have to mention how much I love the packaging. It’s elegant and luxurious yet simple. Apart from the aesthetics, the fact that the products are in glass packaging is fantastic. Glass is 100% recyclable – yay! Click here for ways to reuse glass.
There are 3 steps in the Claire Hill skincare routine:
- Cleanse – Micellar Water with Desert Lime
- Plump & Brighten – S8-28 Assist Anti-Ageing Serum
- Reduce Wrinkles – S8-28 Anti-Aeging Moisturiser

Micellar Water With Desert Lime
.
I’m such a fan of micellar water – it’s an amazing beauty product in my opinion but that’s because I know it works well for my skin. The great thing about this one is that it suits all skin types. This is thanks to the native Australian Desert Lime extract. It’s rich in potent antioxidants and phytonutrients and improves hydration; stimulates collagen production and brightens skin tone.
This micellar water not only cleanses skin, but it does it without stripping it of it’s natural oils. The no-rinse formula is perfect for travel, post-workout, cleaning makeup brushes, camping or visiting places where no running water is accessible. It’s advised to use it morning and evening before following up with your serum and mosituriser.
It’s a large bottle, 200ml, packed with anti-ageing, anti-pollution benefits. It retails for R600.00 and is available online here.

S8-28 Assist Anti-Ageing Serum
The next step in this skincare range, is to plump and brighten your skin. This serum is light weight and is fast absorbing. It’s much more of lighter consistency than I had expected it to be but I love how quickly it’s absorbed into my skin.
This serum contains 2 powerful anti-ageing ingredients that make it work so well. These are the Australian Kakadu Plum extract, which is a superfruit exceptionally high in Vitamin C as well as Vitamin E. This helps reduce wrinkles, even out skin tone and soothe irritated skin. The second powerful ingredient is Hyanify which is a fermented marine extract that helps your skin make it’s on hyaluronic acid – making your skin smoother.
It’s advised that you apply this serum twice a day as well. Up to 70% see an improvement in the reduction of wrinkles in 28 days after using this serum for 28 days. I can’t say just yet as it hasn’t been 28 days but I can already notice that my skin looks plumper and firmer.
This Anti-Ageing Serum retails for R1100.00 and is available online here.

S8-28 Anti-Ageing Moisturiser
This moisturiser is Claire Hill’s non-invasive alternative to botox. It can even be used to extend time between treatments as a botox enhancer. This is because it targets the same protein complex as botox.
This moisturiser is lighter then I expected to be but I’m grateful as it works well for me in the warmer weather. This face cream also contains Dog-Rose Oil which is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants and will help boost collagen to increase skin firmness, and reduce redness. Another great ingredient it contains is Grape Seed Oil. This helps reduce inflammation (including redness and acne), it helps protects against free radical damage, and balances the skinโs moisture levels with natural fatty acids.
This product is advised the same as the micellar water and serum, use twice daily. It retails for R1475.00 and is available online here.

Claire Hill recommends that these products are used twice daily for 28 days before results will be noticeable. Firstly, I’ve been using them for just over 2 weeks but wanted to let you know about them while I experience them. Secondly, I’m enjoying this range and have actually been a fan of the Australian cruelty free brand for a while, after seeing some of my favourite international beauty bloggers speak about it. Last but not least, these products were kindly gifted to me by the brand but all opinions are my own.
ps: I’ve just see that the brand is launching an eye cream .I can just imagine how amazing it will be!
