Earlier this year, I was introduced to this local eco-brand that focuses on Aloe Ferox as their main ingredient in all their products. Affordable; effective and eco-friendly! You can read more on my thoughts about this brand in my post from a few months ago (click here).
I was definitely keen to try out more form the range and boy oh boy, did I get some fun goodies to play with! Read on to find out my thoughts on these products plus what you can win 😉
First up we have the Aloe Unique Exfoliating Facial Scrub, now as you can see, there are 2 products here but to be honest, I think the only difference is the packaging? Both contain crushed walnuts to help polish away dead skin cells and have a gel consistency. They also contain Aloe Ferox and Vitamin A, B, C & E. Gentle enough for all skin types, it’s recommended to use it about 1-3 times a week. I usually use it about twice a week maximum.

Next up we have the Gentle Facial Wash, that is a light, clear, foaming cleanser that doesn’t leave your skin feeling over-dry or depleted. It contains Vitamin E and hydrating glycerin and is Aloe Ferox-based. Perfect for in my shower!

This Aloe & Honey Gel Mask is my absolute favourite from this range! As soon as I got back from Zambia I applied 2 layers to pamper my skin after being outdoors in the sun. You are supposed to wash it off after 10-20 minutes but I leave it on overnight. It’s hydrating; soothing and replenishes your skin. Plus honey and aloe ferox are super ingredients in natural skincare terms!
ps: I love using the exfoliating scrub and then applying this mask afterwards as a skincare pamper session.

In the range, you can also find the Essential Day Cream and the Essential Night Cream. I’m not the greatest fan of the day cream as I felt it was too heavy for a day cream (I prefer lighter consistencies for day creams) but the night cream is perfect! Rich and Nourishing, this moisturising cream is fantastic for applying at the end of the day. Both are suitable for normal, combination and dry skin types.
Essential Day Cream R105.00 for 50ml
Essential Night Cream R119.00 for 50ml
In terms of body care, this Hand and Nail Cream is such a great handbag companion, it hydrates hands while strengthening nails and conditioning cuticles.
R32.00 for 30ml
The 3 in 1 Hair Body Face Wash seems ideal for those that go away often and can’t pack much but I’m a all in one type of girl so I’ve only used this as a body wash haha.
R70.00 for 220ml
The Shea Body Butter from Aloe Unique is another winning product in my eyes! Perfect for nourishing my dry skin (thanks Gauteng winter) as it’s rich in Shea Butter & Anti-oxidants. Apply an extra layer on really dry skin and you’ll feel instant relief!
R99.00 for 125ml
So I wanted to share the Aloe Unique love by giving you a chance to win the products I chatted about *yay*
